Hoffman for more than 40 years and has worked closely with the
pile driving division since it was first launched seven years ago.
Hoffman plans to continue growing its pile driving division.
“We have taken on the Vibro line to help our crane and excavator
customers so we can move them as packages, so hopefully that
will move us further into the market for the guys that do pile driving,”
said Bloyd.
As part of the pile driving industry, Hoffman wants to support
the industry as a member of the Pile Driving Contractors
Association. Bloyd believes this presents huge advantage to
the company, as being part of PDCA is extremely beneficial by
putting Hoffman in front of the customer in more ways than
just construction.
“It’s a whole different branch of construction equipment, that
in years past we didn’t get in contact with,” he said. “There are a lot
of contractors that only do marine work or sheeting and driving
work; they don’t do general contracting work. Being part of PDCA
puts us into contact with those contractors.”
With the company approaching its momentous 100th anniversary,
there are many milestones to commemorate, in addition to
an amazing team who has helped it continue to grow and succeed.
“Not many companies make it to 100 years, and I am very proud
that we will soon be celebrating this milestone birthday,” said
Watters. “Primarily responsible for our success is our continuing
commitment to our customers, our employees and our values. But
also important is our association and participation in industry
associations like PDCA. We have a lot to offer our pile driving customers,
but most of all we offer a team of dedicated, consultative
employees to assist you with your equipment needs!”
The values that built this organization’s success over the years
are the same values that fuel its growth today – focus on individualized
customer service within an environment of trust, integrity,
teamwork and dedication to the customer. t
