t CZM FOUNDATION EQUIPMENT BREAKS
GROUND ON NEW GEORGIA FACTORY
CZM Foundation Equipment, a company that manufactures foundation
equipment, broke ground on their new U.S. corporate and
factory headquarters on Sept. 16, 2019. The new facility will include
a new 40,000 square foot manufacturing shop in the Interstate
Centre II industrial park in Ellabell.
Giuliano Clo, president of CZM USA Corp, says that with these
plans, he expects to create 25 new jobs, taking the company to
around 75 total employees over the next three years. The expansion
will give CZM the ability to double the number of machines
it currently makes. Kern and Company is the engineering firm,
Mahany Construction is the general contractor, and Suntrust Bank
is financing the project, which is expected to be completed early
next year.
“The Bryan County Development Authority has been instrumental
in developing the industrial park and supported us from
the beginning. We are thrilled to be expanding in Bryan County. It’s
a great place to do business,” said Clo.
Since 2012, CZM Foundation Equipment has operated in
Pembroke in the Dixie Harn Industrial Park. The company offers a
comprehensive line of machines engineered for a variety of foundation
applications. CZM Foundation Equipment is the American
division of CZM Corp., the leading foundation equipment manufacturer
in South America, founded in Brazil in 1976.

t IFCEE 2021 CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The International Association of Foundation Drilling (ADSC),
Deep Foundations Institute (DFI), Geo-Institute of the ASCE

again join to host the International Foundations Congress and
Equipment Exposition (IFCEE 2021) from May 10–14, 2021, in
Dallas, Texas. Industry members interested in making a presentation
at IFCEE 2021 should submit a brief description (300 words or
