Longtime steel distributor expands
into manufacturing

JD Fields & Company supplies steel products to customers
around the world, including pipe piles, H-piles, wide
flange beams, channels, sheet piling and accessories for
the piling industry. It also offers third-party turnkey services, such
as fabrication, coating, painting and galvanizing, through partners
located throughout North America. It holds more than 150,000
tons of steel in stock and works with customers to meet their special
requirements.
With its headquarters in Houston, Texas, JD Fields also has
11 offices across America, including a second Texas location in
Dallas, and in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana
and Massachusetts, and additional sales offices in other states. It
has storage facilities countrywide and in Canada, and manufacturing
partners, some exclusive, in several states, as well as in Mexico,
Europe, South America and Asia. Administrative, accounting, sales
support and executive roles at the corporate head office, along
with salespeople and workers in the company’s storage facilities,
make up a growing family of JD Fields employees.
