BOD is working towards ensuring more
document content is added to the technical
library in the future. Take advantage of
the existing content by downloading those
resources and pass them around to your
employees. We have to educate our up-andcoming
leaders if we are to continue to foster
the driven pile.
I have challenged each member of
the Board of Directors to pick one nonmember
company they know – either a
contractor, engineer, customer or supplier
– and pursue them as a new member. I
also challenged them to get an employee
or another member company employee
to join a committee. This creates more
opportunity for everyone who is a member.
That being said, I would like to ask
you, the general membership, to do the
same. Take 10 minutes of your day in the
next 30 days and ask a new member to
join PDCA and get them involved. If we as
members can’t get another company or
person involved and help them to understand
the benefit of PDCA, we are in trouble.
We are our best salespeople!
Being part of the PDCA Board and
Executive Committee has provided me
an opportunity that I am forever grateful
for. I have grown to understand what the
rewards are to myself and the industry that
we all work in and cherish. I have made
friendships that I would not have otherwise
made, and for that I am very thankful.
The last thing I would implore each
of you to do is ask yourself this: Are you
involved enough? If not, I urge you to
consider your involvement in PDCA. If
we don’t take up the torch and carry it,
how long will we be the deep foundation
of choice with all of the fierce competition
that exists? We already know we
have the best product, as A Driven Pile
is a Tested Pile!
I am pleading with each of you reading
this, GET INVOLVED! We will all be the
better for it. t

on the calls and get involved on the
