EMC ENGINEERING SERVICES
High quality and cost-effective projects
By Lisa Kopochinski
While EMC Engineering
Services may be brand
new to PDCA – the
Georgia-based company became a member
this year – the company has more
than four decades of experience as a multidisciplined
engineering firm that provides
services across the U.S.
“We joined PDCA because we wanted
to be connected with the pile driving community
to stay updated on current testing
and installation processes, and to network
with fellow testing firms and contractors,”
said EMC president and CEO, Charles E.
Perry, Jr.
Founded in 1978, EMC has built a reputation
for high quality, cost-effective projects.
With 11 offices and nearly 100 experienced
engineers, surveyors, landscape
architects, geologists, construction inspectors,
scientists and technicians in Georgia
and South Carolina, the company provides
services to a multitude of clients, including
municipalities, government agencies,
industries, institutions, development
authorities, architects, commercial investors
and residential developers.
Perry, who joined EMC in 1993, has
extensive knowledge as a design engineer,
project manager and principal-in-charge
on site development, environmental, drainage,
transportation and marine projects for
state, county and municipal governments,
as well as industries and private developers.
