will represent CZM appropriately, we will all win.”

The new factory sits on 16 acres and has
a variety of special features, including
an office building that connects directly
to the factory.
“One of the nicest features of the new
factory is that we all have offices together –
production, engineering and service,” said
Johnson. “We have windows that look out
into the factory from the offices, as well,
and it’s cool to see what is happening all
day. I also love that our inventory is better
organized and more accessible – we needed
all the space we now have for parts. Our
new paint booth makes getting parts ready
to ship more efficient as well. We still have a
small corporate feel but are in a big playing
field since we have so many machines to
offer. I appreciate that we have accessibility
to the CEO and all upper management.
It’s nice that we have an open-door policy
– they listen to our feedback, hear our
opinions and are open to requests. Personal
attention goes a long way.”
CZM’s old factory is in the process of
being converted to the East Coast service
hub. It will offer service for all machines,
including rentals.
Johnson does find time in his busy
schedule to play a round of golf here and
there, saltwater fish and hang with his “girl
gang” – his three daughters, ages 5, 3 and 1.
“As a native of Tybee Island, Ga., we like
to be out on the water, beaching or fishing.
This is a great place to live!” he said.
When it comes to his future at CZM, he
has practical goals.
“My hope for the future with CZM is to
continue to grow in a steady, conservative
way,” said Johnson. “Keep ahead of new
technology and innovation and continue
the excellent customer care given by the
service team.” t
