PDCA’S FIRST STEEL MEMBER
Standing Out
For 36 years, Shoreline Steel has been providing custom solutions for piling contractors
with its American-made and made-to-order interlocking steel sheet pile systems
By Mark Halsall
Shoreline Steel started manufacturing steel sheet piling
in 1983. Since then, the company founded by Ernie
Tyvaert and Marty Buranosky in New Haven, Mich. has
expanded its operations and production capabilities considerably
as well as its market, which now includes Canada, Mexico
and the Caribbean.
Today, Shoreline Steel is led by the Tyvaert family along with
Tom Willey, who joined the company in 1993. Willey takes pride
in Shoreline Steel’s strong reputation as a provider of a quality,
American-made, interlocking cold-formed steel sheet piling and
says one of the things his company is best known for is its ability to
provide custom piling solutions.
