steel distributor, the company has been in
business for more than 50 years.
Formed in 1966, Service Steel Warehouse
has locations in Houston, Texas and
Hammond, Ind., in addition to eight storage
facilities across the U.S.
With its Texas office located next to
the Houston Ship Channel, and with rail
access to the Port of Houston and the
mainland, the company uses its efficient
transportation system to ship steel to its
customers across the United States and
internationally.
PileDriver magazine recently spoke with
Service Steel Warehouse’s Bill Thomas, Sales
North America, about one of its most recent
projects at the Sunseeker Resort in Punta
Gorda, Fla., a waterfront resort and conference
center located on the Charlotte Harbor.

open for permitting reasons. This is
