Sarah Honeyman, Meever USA
Sarah Honeyman is a territory sales manager for Meever USA in
Jacksonville, Fla., but she almost had a different career.
“Lane Koslow, who used to be the general manager at my previous
company, took a chance on me right out of college when I
decided not to be a teacher. He and Sandra Richardson really gave
me the opportunity and taught me everything I know,” she said.
(Richardson founded Piling Products with Gary Johnson in 1984.
Roll Form Group acquired that company in 2009; this past summer,
Honeyman left her previous position to become part of Meever
USA’s team.)
“I’m very detail-oriented, I work with a huge sense of urgency;
for me, it’s being able to surpass the expectations you have for
yourself, and being able to sell more every year. You reach a new
level, a larger customer base, or you attain a new customer that
you’ve been trying to reel in for a while.”
Honeyman takes great satisfaction from “getting the sale, delivering
it, putting it on a truck: figuring out how to make it happen
and making it happen.” She repeats a favorite quotation: “‘Work
until you no longer have to tell people your name’ – that’s the goal,
to work until people know you and want to work with you. That’s
what I’m working for.”
Dawn Johnson Kieffer, Meever USA
Along with Honeyman, Dawn Johnson Kieffer also transferred
from Roll Form Group to Meever USA this past summer and is
now the company’s a rental business manager and sales associate.
Johnson Kieffer has also had an unusual career path.
