2021 – Twice as
Unpredictable

Since I last introduced an issue of
CMQ, so much has happened. Typically,
the fall/winter months for the
Society are the busiest – mostly because we
are planning for the year ahead and delivering
the majority of our education offerings
prior to the golf season. As much as we tried
to forecast based on prior experience, this
year proved to be equally as busy and twice
as unpredictable.
I know all of our members are in similar
situations, trying to manage in a flurry of
rules/regulations related to the pandemic
that are forever changing – forecasting budgets
for a year like no other. And just when
we think there is blue sky on the horizon, it
all gets flipped on its side once again.
For the last several months, the
National Office has remained focused on
delivering against priorities identified in
