Considering
Club Cyber Security
Every organization must take critical steps
to protect its information

The words cyber and security tend to make those unfamiliar
with the subject uncomfortable. When the two words
are written separately, they make sense; however, together
the concept is unfamiliar, difficult and overlooked.
A few important concepts explained:
• Cyber world, meaning all the devices that have access to the
Internet, which include but are not limited to servers, computers,
smart phones, smart locks, smart cameras and phone
systems
• Cybercrime entails all illegal activity that takes place on
the Internet
• Cyber security provides a set of rules and tools to litigate illegal
activity on the Internet
• Cyber insurance is the outsourcing of the financial responsibility
for the failed protections from cyber criminals
The way I explain the concept of cyber security is by comparing
it to our day-to-day security. The concept of security has been
