Behind the Scenes

My office is in the southeast
section of the club.
It has large windows that
let in bright, natural light and offer a
wonderful view of downtown Ottawa.
On my main desk, I work on two
computers; one monitor permits me
to view my new emails immediately
and the other to work on my daily
tasks with ease.
I also have an air filter to keep
viruses at bay! Of course, nothing
beats a hot coffee to keep me alert
during my back-to-back meetings
and fresh water to stay hydrated.
Other essentials – my cellphone,
my glasses and a red racing car mouse
to add some personality to my office!
My laptop is certainly one of
the most valuable items to my job
because it gives me the flexibility to
be mobile around the club and to also
work from home when needed.
My favourite possession is my
Everton Stadium plaque, which was
given to me by my best friend with
whom I share a passion for soccer
and whom I have known for over
40 years.
The one thing that’s missing on
my main desk is my wife’s picture,
which is in a different section in my
office, but still in my field of vision
and close to my heart.
