Crossman helped found the Pile
Driving Contractors Association back in
the mid-1990s and is a long-time supporter
of the organization. He believes
that PDCA, through its conferences and
other offerings, has a lot to offer suppliers
in the pile driving industry.
“For a supplier, it’s a wonderful venue.
You are able to show your product and
show yourself, and also see an awful lot of
customers at one time,” he said.
Crossman also enjoys the camaraderie
and knowledge sharing that takes
place at PDCA meetings.
“You have people that are in the pile
driving business from all over the country
there. People can get together and discuss
issues that may crop up and they’re
meeting others who may have solutions to
issues or use different techniques or what
not, so it’s a sharing of ideas.” t
