FEATURE
Committee for over 20 years, contributing to the association in
several ways, including editing the proceedings of two International
Foundation Congress and Equipment Expos (IFCEE) in 2009 and
2015, which were conducted in collaboration with PDCA, as well
as other professional foundations groups.
Iskander has also received a number of teaching awards,
including Chi Epsilon James Robbins District Excellence in
Teaching Award (2000), Polytechnic University Distinguished
Teacher Award (2002) and Jacobs Excellence in Education Award
(2006, 2009). He also received the National Science Foundation
CAREER Award. Iskander graduated 12 doctoral and 35 master’s
students. He has also served on the dissertation committees of 21
doctoral candidates from four universities. He is presently working
with four doctoral students at NYU.
