TIMBER PILE
UPLIFT ANCHORS
TP-807
TIMBER PILE POINTS
Hard cutting timber pile
points help make any job
run more smoothly and
dependably.
Timber pile points protect
pile tips from failure. Points
will help drive through rubble
and other tough conditions
without undermining the
strength of the pile. Points
are made in one piece of
1/4" low-alloy cast steel.
Advanced Uplift
Resistance Anchors
Our TP-807 timber
anchors are made from
TUFLOY cast steel
(90 ksi tensile, 60 ksi
yield) and are galvanized.
Quick assembly in the
field with just holes
drilled through the pile.
DFP casts integral teeth
into each uplift anchor
to provide extra “bite”
into the timber pile.
A full set is needed for
30 ton uplift and 1/2 set
for 15 ton uplift.

and logistical purposes, a 165-ton crane was used to minimize crane
moves in the tight area.
Management or mitigation of
environmental considerations
This project was built adjacent to the St. Peter’s Drainage Canal.
With such close proximity to a watershed, APC performed twice
daily checks for leaks of all fluids used in the pile driving process.
Spill kits were located on all equipment and silt fencing and oil
boom was in location to protect from any runoff of silt or spilled
liquids as a second line of defense.
Conclusion
With the team approach with the general contractor, APC was
effectively used to shorten the overall project schedule through
innovative approaches in the installation of the TRS and, particularly,
the battered H-piles that were accurately punched to the
correct elevation from 15 feet above their final position. The APC
team was deeply involved in the planning of the entire project, ultimately
reducing the risks of traffic closures or power outages, all
while maintaining a zero incident project. t
