pile. This saved the project from an additional mobilization for the
deep foundation portion of the project. In addition to punching
the piles, our in-house design of the TRS quickened the submittal
turnaround, and allowed us to design the whaler system to allow
for easier access for the additional piles to be driven once the TRS
was excavated by I&MC.
Innovative project management
Through a detailed project management process, the APC team
minimized the need for lane closures or eliminated the need for
rerouting of traffic. This also negated the need for night shifts due
to traffic congestion, as well the need to requests power outages in
