Leading through
a crisis
When you look at the picture above,
is the tone in your head positive
or negative? Do you read it with
conviction like a person ready to head
into battle, or as someone who is just
emotionally drained?
That is what I asked a room full of
socially distanced leaders recently. The
raised hands unfortunately showed that
more people inferred a negative tone,
and I was not surprised. COVID-19 has
presented people around the world with
scenarios that evoke a variety of emotions.
