A job well done
The project had a special meaning to P&H. Pat Hensley, our
founder and namesake, was always up for a challenge, and he knew
this project was going to be one. Pat, Dale Hensley (general superintendent)
and I spent weeks planning the best way to tackle this
job in an effort to minimize the cost. We bid the job in September
2014 and were notified a few months later that we were the low
bidders. After some contract issues and lead time on materials,
we were finally able to start in October 2015. Unfortunately, Pat
Hensley passed away on Dec. 16, 2014. This project was the last
project of which he was a part. Even though he didn’t get to take
part in the challenge of the job, our planning together during the
bidding process played a huge role in the successful completion
of this project. After everything was said and done, we believe he
would have said, “A job well done.” t
