TO ASSOCIATE PRINCIPAL
GZA, a leading environmental and geotechnical
consulting firm, announces that David
E. Leone has been promoted to associate
principal in the Norwood, Mass. office.
Leone joined GZA in 1998; his area of
focus is environmental consulting, soil and
groundwater remediation and environmental
due diligence.
Leone earned a Bachelor of Science in
geology and earth science from Dartmouth
David Leone
College. He is a licensed site professional
(LSP) in Massachusetts, a certified professional geologist (CPG)
and serves as chair of the Licensed Site Professional Association
Regulations Committee. Leone is an active member of the NAIOP
Massachusetts 21E Committee.
In June 2015, Leone was appointed to the state Brownfields
Advisory Group by Massachusetts Speaker of the House, Robert
A. DeLeo. He serves as the group’s hazardous waste cleanup professional.

Meever’s southeast region continues expansion: Paul
Jaquillard was recently appointed a southeast region territory
manager. He will be working with Lee Wilczynski (a pile driving
industry veteran with over 41 years’ experience).
Meever USA has delivered the first shipments of precision
cold-formed steel sheet pile, a new proprietary sheet pile available
only from Meever USA to the U.S. market.
Precision pile (VKZ series) is an innovation in cold-formed
sheet pile manufacturing, featuring interlocks formed to angular
specifications. Angular interlocks eliminate the looseness and
swing of traditional rounded cold-formed interlocks for more precise
alignment and control when driving steel sheet pile.
This innovation has led to the Ultimate precision sheet pile
(IBO series). A pile with Z-section properties manufactured in
one piece (rather than two), eliminating the practice of having to
pair Z-pile. The following are some of the benefits:
•• Eliminates the common interlock in paired Z-pile (50 percent
less interlocks)
•• Faster installation, widths up to five feet or more
