TIMBER PILE POINTS
Hard cutting timber pile
points help make any job
run more smoothly and
dependably.
Timber pile points protect
pile tips from failure. Points
will help drive through rubble
and other tough conditions
without undermining the
strength of the pile. Points
are made in one piece of
1/4" low-alloy cast steel.
Advanced Uplift
Resistance Anchors
Our TP-807 timber
anchors are made from
TUFLOY cast steel
(90 ksi tensile, 60 ksi
yield) and are galvanized.
Quick assembly in the
field with just holes
drilled through the pile.
DFP casts integral teeth
into each uplift anchor
to provide extra “bite”
into the timber pile.
A full set is needed for
30 ton uplift and 1/2 set
for 15 ton uplift.

“We can look at sheet pile
jobs and approach them in
three or four different ways –
that is unique in probably 99
percent of the country.”
– Brandon Sjulin, Zefiro Corporation
Then there was the emergency job in Ohio where an active
railroad bridge was collapsing a little more every day as the Zefiro
crew worked in the middle of the river building dams around the
bridge, pressing in sheet pile.
Back in California, under the Los Angeles Water Protection
Program, Machado Lake was scheduled for a huge project designed
to improve the water quality of the 45-acre lake and develop the
recreational features of its surrounding 290-acre park. Zefiro had
the expertise and the equipment to finish the perimeter wall involving
1,300 feet of permanent sheet pile for alignments and erosion
control to help sustain the lake ecosystem.
Full-service equipment and crew
The Zefiro Mobilram Multi-purpose Systems can be set up in less
than an hour for CIDH pile installation, soldier/sheet pile installation
and removal and pipe pile installation and removal. And although
Zefiro does specialize in sheet piling, it is not the only thing this company
can do.
The truck- and track-mounted drilling fleet with complete tooling
can respond immediately to everything from CIDH pile installation
to drilling shafts to installing/removing casing. Add to these
capabilities one of the largest steel rental inventories in the country, and
pretty much whatever the job requires, Zefiro’s equipment and crews
can make it happen – even to the extent that all operators are certified
welders. It’s no surprise then, with such a highly trained crew and
modern tools and equipment, that the company has been accident-free
from its beginning.
Zefiro recently became a member of PDCA in recognition of the
importance of the association within the pile-driving industry.
“We want to make sure we stay current with emerging technologies
and designs because we are focused on trying to provide the most
advanced methods in the industry in what we do,” said Sjulin. “And
it’s always changing.” From a client’s perspective, there is no doubt that
membership helps to establish credibility.
“We want to build relationships with our peers within our scope
of services,” he said. “As we are working across the country, we need to
focus on a bigger scale. Even though we’re a small company, we’re getting
more and more calls as clients try to mitigate the issue of vibration.”
Yet, true to its focus on complete service to its clients, Sjulin is
proud to state that Zefiro is not just another company looking for jobs.
“We will continue to focus on one job at a time rather than growth
and revenue,” he said. “We are service-oriented. If we can do it, then we
focus on getting that job done.”
It is that kind of drive with commitment to purpose that has
facilitated the company’s steady advancement and expertise as well as
its well-deserved reputation for excellence in the industry. t
