Graduating with a degree in structural
engineering from the University
of California, San Diego in
the midst of a recession turned out to be a
blessing in disguise for Skyline Steel young
gun Errynne Bell.
“When I graduated in 2010, it was difficult
to find a job. I was applying to every
position I could find. Actually, when I first
applied to Skyline, I didn’t realize that the
job was going to be in New Jersey. As I
went through the hiring process, I thought,
‘Skyline looks like a great company to work
for.’ When I was offered the job, I took a
PDCA YOUNG GUN
leap of faith and accepted,” said Bell.
Trading in the endless waves and stunning
sunsets of sunny Southern California
for a job at Skyline’s corporate office was
the first step in a career path that would
soon take Bell to positions in all four corners
of the country.
