We have a strong customer base in
North America, the East Coast of
the U.S. and in Canada. We want
to promote driven pile and show
potential new customers our current
fleet of piling rigs and hydraulic
hammers that are available and
perfectly suitable for the North
American market. Purpose-built piling
rigs are the future of pile driving, and
we see IFCEE as a major opportunity
for us to promote our technology –
even more important than CONEXPO
– because IFCEE is a specialized
show for foundation equipment.
Hefei Ziking Steel Pipe Inc. has
exhibited at the PDCA annual
conference for three years and
it’s been the best event for us to
expose our product and services to
the deep foundation industry. IFCEE
gives us the “all-in-one” opportunity
to reach the entire market. We had
no hesitation to apply for exhibition
space at the first opening time. Most
of our product sales (steel pipe) in
North and South America are for
piling or foundation purposes, and
now we’re attaching spin fins onto
sophisticated driven piles.
We expect to maximize our
exposure to foundation industry
professionals, for their choice of
steel pipe from our origin – and we
might learn more of the local market
trends and technical challenges to
meet our existing clients and find
new customers.

BAUER-Pileco is excited about
being a part of this new venture
and we would not miss it for the
world. Being an industry leader
demands that we stay involved in
all aspects of our industry, including
displaying our latest and greatest
equipment and our willingness to
discuss it with all who is interested
to learn. We’re exhibiting at IFCEE
because obviously selling equipment
is our business and we are always
interested in moving our product.
However, for BAUER-Pileco, it’s just
as much about being able to interact
with our industry counterparts and
the potential customer base.
Our expectations for IFCEE are very
simple: to be involved in the largest
foundation show in the industry and
to do our part in ensuring its success
in the eyes of all that attend. We’re
most excited about all the industry
leaders of equipment manufacturing
and academia scholars coming
together to ensure the success of the
largest foundation industry event of
its kind.

IFCEE 2015
There are multiple reasons why GRL
is exhibiting at IFCEE 2015. On the
one hand, GRL wants to support
all the professional organizations
that are participating. On the other
hand, it’s hard to think of a better
venue for exposure of all that GRL
has to offer to the geotechnical
community. Face to face contact
with your target audience is
tremendously important, even if you
are a household name. GRL hopes
that many of its clients will come say
hi, hopes to reconnect with clients
with whom it hasn’t had contact
in a while and hopes to gain new
clients. Most foundation engineers
have heard of GRL, but not all are
aware that it has more offices than it
did a few years ago. They also may
not know of all the various types of
foundation testing and analysis that
GRL can perform.
Apart from the show, our
engineers will be participating in
committee meetings, attending
technical sessions to learn of
new developments and making
presentations. We will also, of
course, be honoring our very own
founder and past president Dr. Frank
Rausche, who will be delivering the
Osterberg Memorial Lecture.
