Ford intends to take that knowledge
and experience and incorporate it into
future opportunities and challenges.
“My short-term goals are simple: work
hard, continue to learn and take on as many
challenges as I can,” he said.
Alongside his own growth in the
industry, he sees a continued growth for
the driven pile industry, and credits PDCA
with this evolution.
Ford sits on the PDCA’s Education
Committee and is a strong believer in educating
engineers and contractors on the
advantages of driven piles. He adds: “As we
know, ‘a driven pile is a tested pile.’ ”
Shortly after moving to Atlanta, Ford
met his wife one day while shopping at
Publix. They currently reside just outside
Atlanta, in Roswell, Ga. He and his wife
recently welcomed the first addition to
their family, Mackenzie Harper Ford, a
happy, healthy baby girl.
